This is Senator Lou D’Allesandro’s (D-Manchester) nineteenth effort to legalize casino gaming in the state, and every successive bill’s annual defeat in the House has become something of the New Hampshire tradition, a bit like Rochester Fair but less fun.

We suspect, incidentally, that this is the way the term ‘lobbyist’ originated.
