Stephen Crosby is facing an ethics investigation over their actions during the approval associated with the Wynn Resorts casino in Everett.
The Massachusetts casino licensing process has been fraught with lawsuits, accusations and campaigns for and against every proposed project, making it one of this most gaming that is contentious seen any place in the united states of america.
The controversies over enabling gambling enterprises in the state have seemed to come at every level, and even their state’s video gaming commission is not resistant from questions about the procedure.
Massachusetts Gaming Commission Chairman Stephen Crosby is under research by the continuing State Ethics Commission over allegations he could have had a conflict of interest when reviewing the Wynn Resorts proposition to construct a resort in Everett.
The issue is that the Everett resort was being built on land that was owned by an old friend of crosby’s, Paul Lohnes.
Sworn Statement Prompted Research
Apparently, the ethics payment launched the inquiry after finding a sworn statement suggesting that Crosby ‘actively participated’ into the state video gaming commission’s focus on evaluating the Everett bid even after he had officially recused himself from being part of the procedure to award the Greater Boston casino license.
